WHO WE ARE

Founded 2025 in the Treasure Valley, Idaho. We are a a small group of like minded Americans who want to be prepared for any situation. We strive to be a contributor and layer of protection to our community. In the event of a disaster we want to be able to protect ourselves, loved ones and neighbors. We aim to be proficient in firearms knowledge, weapons systems assembly & maintainence, and first aid & trauma care. Our militia is open to any citizen and we are homegrown in Idaho based in the Canyon County/Ada County locale. Our motto is ‘Semper Paratus’ which is latin for “Always Ready”. Our goal is to always be ready to move, act and defend our great state & community should the need ever present itself.

Meet The Founders

FRM Founder
Ente has lived in the great state of Idaho for over 28 years. He has spent some of those years as a Electronics Technician, Automotive Master Mechanic, Shop Foreman and Retail Location Management. He formed the idea for the Functional Reserve Militia in late 2024 while enjoying a cold glass of whiskey, and a cigar. The idea being we need to protect our constitutional rights & to serve and protect our community. He reached out to Maltz and they started work and planning. He is currently studying and training to be our Armorer and Tactical Operations Leader.

Maltz has lived in the great state of Idaho for over 10 years. He has spent some of those years working in the renovation industry and marketing. At the start of 2025 Maltz convened with Ente on forming a Milita to protect our constitutional rights & to serve and protect our community. Maltz is currently studying and training to be our Combat Medic Specialist.
